This follows on from two more students, Gemma Rooney and Jack Roach earning places on Villiers Park residential courses, bringing to six the number of sixth form students who have earned places on the Oxbridge orientated courses this year.

Attendance at courses such as this provide students with an opportunity to experience university education which they can then refer to when applying for places at top universities in the UK and Ireland at a time when the application process is highly competitive.

The students are supported by their applications for these courses by their subject teachers, careers staff, Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator and the Co-ordinator of Gifted and Talented provision.
