More strong wind and snow for Mid Ulster and Tyrone

More strong winds and snow are forecast for Mid Ulster and Tyrone over the next 36 hours, weather forecasters are predicting.

According to the Met Office, there will be a few wintry showers on Monday with snow lying on the hills.

Feeling cold with strong west or southwesterly winds, gales over coasts and high ground. Maximum Temperature 7 °C.

Tonight: A mainly dry start to the evening with clear spells but showers will soon develop again, these becoming wintry to lower levels. Fresh southwest winds, strong around coasts. Minimum Temperature -1 °C.

Tuesday: Another cold day with bright intervals and sleet or snow showers, these most frequent in the west. Best of the brightness across County Down. Strong southwesterly winds with coastal gales. Maximum Temperature 4 °C.
