Morton's Chip Shop on TV?

FORGET Michelin Stars and celebrity chefs, it’s Mortons Chip Shop of Ballycastle that’s the ‘plaice to be seen’.

One reviewer from America claimed “the quality that you get here is unmatched” and urged everyone to “walk, drive and fly to enjoy the fresh taste at Mortons”.

Rumour is rife that the international recognition received by the chip shop is to go one step further - there has been speculation of an appearance on one of the BBC’s most popular programmes.

A spokesperson for the shop stated that whilst it hasn’t been confirmed yet, the BBC had been in touch and there was a “definite possibility” of an upcoming appearance.

And with world-wide recommendations, who can blame the BBC? It seems everyone agrees the fish and chip shop isn’t going to flounder any time soon!
