Mothers and babies enjoy massage

LOCAL mothers and babies from the Coleraine Surestart Partnership area recently completed a five week programme of infant massage.

The programme was delivered by Edna McAuley at Harpur’s Hill Children and Family Centre and was enjoyed by everyone. One mother said: “This was a great course which has been very helpful in learning to relax with my baby – and has helped us have quality time together!”

Harpurs’ Hill Children and Family Centre is one of the partners that make up Coleraine Surestart Partnership and deliver a wide range of services such as Creche, Playgroup, the Surestart Two-Year-Old Programme, and Afterschools. They also employ a team of skilled Family Visitors who befriend and support families.

Coleraine Surestart Partnership staff and partners, deliver activities and services to people living Ballysally, Harpur’s Hill, the Heights, Killowen, Millburn, Windyhall and Coleraine town centre.

Programmes are delivered in community settings by trained facilitators.
