Motorist caught speeding at 107mph

A motorist has been caught speeding at 107mph between Ballymena and Larne.

The incident occurred on the Moorfields Road on the night of Wednesday October 14.

The PSNI have not released exact details of where the man was detected speeding.

The speed limit on the majority of the road is 60mph, with a restriction of 40mph applying when driving through the village of Moorfields.

The PSNI have not released details on whether the motorist was charged.
