Mountsandel incident - man charged with weapon offences
A 43-year-old male is expected to appear at Ballymena Magistrates Court tomorrow, Thursday 18 August, charged with a number of offences including possession of a firearm or imitation firearm with intent to cause fear or violence and possession of offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence
It is believed the charges are in connection with an incident at a house in the Mountsandel area of Coleraine on Tuesday 16 August.
As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
