Mountvale residents spruce up their garden

WITH the Nursing Home grounds in full bloom and the Best Kept Awards Inspection coming up soon, staff at Mountvale Private Nursing Home in Dromore asked the residents during a committee meeting what they would like to add to the gardens.

After some discussion it was obvious that residents wanted to see the comings and goings of their home, so a new decking area was erected at the front of the building.

Thank you to resident Ian Goodwin and his wife Gertie who cut the ribbon at the official opening of the area. The day included a barbeque, live music and dancing.

A bouquet of flowers was presented to Mrs Ann Reilly the daughter of a late resident, Lily Aughy, who donated money to the home to purchase a chair in her memory.

Thanks was extended to all those involved, especially the staff, for their continuous hard work.
