Mouse image '˜did not relate' to Glengormley restaurant

Environmental Health Officers have confirmed that a photograph of a mouse posted on social media, which it was claimed had been taken in a local restaurant, 'did not relate to the premises'.

Controversy was sparked on Tuesday, May 10, after a woman posted a comment on Facebook, stating that while she had been having a meal in the Royal Thai restaurant in Glengormley, a mouse had joined her at the table.

The woman said: “Had a lovely meal, I have to say, but just as we were about to pay, look who joined us at the table! Totally horrified. I won’t sleep tonight!”

The post was accompanied by a photograph of a mouse.
