Move on safety lights welcomed
Alderman Maurice Devenney has welcomed the announcement that safety warning lights are to be installed at Newbuildings Primary School.
“As a Board member of the school I met with DRD officials, the PSNI and school staff regarding safety warning lights and safety measures for pupils accessing the Duncastle Road,” he said.
“The good news is that the work of installing the safety lights and other measures as well as work in and around the entrance to the school at the Duncastle Road entrance, is to carried out over the summer holidays while the pupils are on leave.”
