The gym has only been open a matter of weeks at Moy GAA Club, which itself was badly damaged by arson in September last year.

Following last night’s incident, police checked all other GAA clubs in the area, a PSNI spokesperson has told the TIMES.

“All was regular”, added the police spokesman.

Meanwhile, the discovery of a burnt out car close to a football club on the Limehill Road in Pomeroy, just after 11.10pm last night, is not being linked to the Moy incident at this stage, say police.
