It was very much an occasion to be enjoyed by long standing members, visiting orangemen and bands. But it was also an evening when whole families with links to the lodge gathered together for another memorable moment in Moyasset history.

The Ahoghill District Lodge decided to mark that link to the local community by featuring their hall, built just over 110 years ago in 1904, on the front of their new banner.

Over the last few years the hall has been totally refurbished with a new kitchen, heating, insulation and double glazed windows installed making it an ideal space for the local community.

There was also a great honour for the Ritchie family, who have been drumming for the lodge for some 80 years and over three generations as they are pictured right at the front of the hall with their lambegs.
