Moyle pupils go for goal in penalty slam

CHILDREN from Moyle Primary School have put their best feet forward to take part in the Irish FA's charity penalty slam event.

P2 and 3 children donated 1 to take to take penalties against their coach Ben Harvey in the hope of raising money for the IFA’s nominated charities. The event raised over 80 and all of it goes to the chosen charities - Mencap, Positive Futures and the Prince’s Trust.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the event with everyone receiving a certificate for taking part and the school received a football signed by Northern Ireland manager Nigel Worthington.

Primary schools’ coach Ben Harvey said: “The children have been fantastic by supporting the event and have been very generous in raising money for the chosen charities.”
