Moyle’s Got Culture event on Saturday

Forget Britain’s Got Talent - check out Moyle’s Got Culture!

Moyle Culture Concert will take place at the historic site of Bonamargy Friary this Saturday (September 28th) from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

The evening will provide entertainment from the local community in poetry, drama, dance, music, and song.

Open to all local residents, this event will be free of charge to the public and funded through the NE PEACE III Partnership.

There will be traditional Scottish and Irish music and dancing, drawing on the strong Irish and Scottish traditions in the Moyle area.

Free transport will be provided to the concert from various points across Moyle.

The organisers have been participants on the Leadership in a Shared Society project which is supported through the European Union’s PEACE III Programme and is managed for the Special EU Programmes Body by the North East PEACE III Partnership.

Funding from the North East PEACE III Partnership has been secured to deliver this cultural event/concert for the residents of Moyle this Saturday 28 September.

The concert is part of the Moyle Shared Society project which aims to promote a deeper appreciation of shared history, culture and learning from the past.

The evening concert will be a unique showcase of local talent from different traditions in Moyle within the dramatic and historical grounds of Bonamargy Friary.

This concert is a marquee event.
