For the last 10 years Mr Simpson has held the annual sit out in Lurgan town centre in the run up to Christmas to raise money
for Ceara School.

This year there will be extra Christmas sparkle with local primary schools coming along to sing carols and a visit from the “man in the big red coat” is expected. The Lurgan sit out will take place outside Pound Stretcher on Market Street.

Mr Simpson said, “I am always amazed at the generosity of people from the Lurgan area when I have my annual sit out. This year to mark the 10th year I will be having some of the local primary schools along and there will be a special visit from Santa himself at various times throughout
the day.

“The sit-out will take place on 12th December and everyone is welcome to come along and give a donation which will go in its entirety to Ceara Special School.

“This year will hopefully see us break the £30,000 total across the three town centres Banbridge, Portadown and Lurgan. I look forward to seeing you in Lurgan town centre and wishing you a very Happy Christmas as your Member
of Parliament.”
