MP to host Dickson Plan rally

The DUP MP said: “This is a borough-wide rally aimed at demonstrating in numbers the support there is for the Dickson Plan and the rejection of Option A.

“It is imperative that the SELB and the Department of Education get a very clear and concise message that the overwhelming majority of people do not support their attempts to decimate the Dickson Plan.

“We would encourage all those who support the retention of Dickson to come out in strength and support this initiative.

“There will be a range of speakers including the Chair of the Education Committee Mr Mervyn Storey MLA, educationalists and local business owners on the platform.

“We would welcome people from across the borough.

“This is an opportunity for parents, children, teachers and whoever else is supportive of the campaign to Save the Dickson Plan to have their voice heard.”
