MPs' support for Armed Forces

EAST Antrim MP Sammy Wilson and North Belfast MP Nigel Dodds have pledged to do their bit for the British Armed Forces.

The DUP men made the pledge last week on The Royal British Legion’s campaign website - www.timetodoyourbit.org.uk.

The website features the charity’s general election manifesto, which sets out a list of priorities for the next Government, including improving the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme and tackling poverty among older veterans and widows.

“The Royal British Legion have an important role to play in highlighting the needs of our Armed Forces. I have pledged to do my bit and would encourage everyone to visit the website to find out how they can get involved in the campaign,” Mr Dodds added.
