Multi-cultural day at Taghnevan

TAGHNEVAN Community Development Association will be hosting their first ever Multi-Cultural Day this Saturday (August 20).

The event will be held from 10am to 4pm at Taghnevan Youth and Community Centre.

With a world food court, health workshops, interactive music and dance sessions, multi cultural crafts workshops and all the usual entertainment for children, there is something for everyone.

The John Tennyson Memorial Tournament will also be held this weekend at St Paul’s GFC playing fields.

The organisers have thanked Craigavon Borough Council’s tourism department for providing funding.

They also thanked the SELB, the Council’s development and sports development departments, as well as Craigavon Intercultural Partnership.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event.
