Multiple occupancy
THERE were 363 houses of multiple occupancy registered in Londonderry on New Year's Eve.
The Minister for Social Development Margaret Ritchie outlined the figures which showed that the Derry City Council area had the third highest number of houses with multiple tenants behind Belfast (1,177) and Coleraine (644).
In Strabane just five and in Limavady just four houses of multiple occupation were registered according to the Government figures.
In Northern Irleand a total of 2,413 houses were registered as such.
