Mum's the word at ASDA Coleraine!

Mother's Day is the perfect time to show your mum just how much you care, but for 97 Asda colleagues working in stores across Northern Ireland, including nine at Asda Coleraine, every day is Mother's Day, as they spend quality time together in store.

Asda Coleraine has four family connections, including Community Champion, Sheila Palmer who works with not one but both of her daughters Charlotte and Sam.

“I have a great relationship with my daughters,” Sheila explained. “Even though we all don’t work in the same areas of the store – with Charlotte in Home Shopping and Sam, a Customer Services Section Leader – it’s lovely to know they are there and we always catch up about our day over a cuppa at home.

“Working as a colleague in Asda you do feel part of one big family – but I get the added bonus of actually working alongside my own daughters. Plus, working in store they have no excuse not to get me a gorgeous bunch of flowers on Mother’s Day!”

Other mums and daughters who work together in store include Kirsty and Nicole Lynn, Alison and Jenna Craig and Teresa MacCaughan-Munn and her daughter Clare.
