Murder accused is sent for trial

The man accused of murdering Ballycastle man Kevin O’Neill back in April last year has been sent for trial.

25-year-old Mr O’Neill suffered fatal wounds after he was stabbed at a house in the Stroanshesk Park area of the seaside town.

Appearing before North Antrim Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Monday) charged with Mr O’Neill’s murder was 29-year-old Nigel Thomas Martin McGothigan, also from Ballycastle.
