Murder case: Detectives granted additional interview time
Detectives from Serious Crime Branch investigating the murder of a 69-year-old man in Ballymena on Tuesday 28th April have been granted additional time by a court to interview two men aged 41 and 49 and a woman aged 47.
The deceased, Matt ‘Matha’ Shirley, was well known in the Harryville and Ballee areas of the town.
News of his death has stunned the area where Mr. Shirley was known by many as a ‘harmless soul’ who liked to take his dog on long walks.
