Murder mystery at the art gallery

Are you a budding Poirot or a would-be Miss Marple then you could help solve a grisly murder which will take place in the heart of Lisburn.

Blood will be shed in Lisburn’s Historic Quarter on October 25 – who will have the detective skills to catch the killer?

Lisburn Historic Quarter Arts Group is inviting people to come into the city once again, for more fun at its popular annual Murder Mystery Night.

Stepping into the R-Space Gallery - which began life as a Georgian rectory - wannabe sleuths will be transported back to those times of old, to take part in a thrilling ‘Jack the Ripper’ style murder hunt – Murder In The Rectory.

From the relaxed atmosphere of the first floor, they’ll be led into the bowels of the building as the plot plays out in the decidedly spooky setting of the basement…

Following a break for a delicious BBQ in the courtyard, the amateur detectives will chew over the facts and reach their conclusions. Those who name the culprit correctly will be suitably rewarded!

Spot prizes throughout the night, a gift for the best costume and a charity ballot for Friends in Action mean most people will come away with far more than the satisfaction of seeing a killer get their comeuppance.

“The talented Armagh Players are on board again to play out the murder mystery and we can’t wait to see who spots our killer first! The setting is so atmospheric - a stunning building with a long history and we know our murder mystery detectives are going to love every minute.”

Tickets are £12 each and available now in person from the Island Arts Centre, or by telephoning the Box Office on 028 9250 9509. Don your best period costume or spooky outfit and see you there!
