Musicians hit right note for good cause

First Ballyeaston Presbyterian Church Hall hosted a charity concert in support of Diabetes UK (NI) on March 22.

There was a great turnout for the event, which featured music from traditional music performer Willie Drennan and the Ulster Scots Band, as well as local star Miss Susan Bates.

The prize draw for a Bella Bunny Easter basket prize draw was won by Miss Faye McCalmont from Parkgate.

The night of traditional music and entertainment, organised by Sadie Bates, raised the fantastic total of £1,650 for Diabetes UK (NI).

The organisers thanked everyone who helped make the event such a great success.
