Mutiny on the high seas as Pirates of Kingsisland take Craic Theatre!

The Craic Theatre in Coalisland was transformed into a tropical paradise and the backdrop to a swashbuckling adventure filled with mutiny and comedy capers, as the Pirates of Kingsisland played to three sell out shows and a matinee performance by the children of St John’s Primary School.

A stunning set, which was the handiwork of the school’s art teacher Eimear Lowe and her apprentice Sharon McVeigh, transported the audiences to the decks of the Crunchy Frog and the Curry Bean as they set sail in search of treasure in the legendary land of Lumbago.

The performances from all the children - from primary one to seven - would rival those of any theatre groups and the delighted reactions from the packed out audiences were testament to the months of hard work and preparation from the budding stage stars, and their dedicated teachers and staff.
