For the past few weeks the children have been perfecting their different songs and preparing for the special evening.

There was an impressive turn out to the show and the school would like to thank everyone for coming along and supporting the Naíscoil and the children.

Brídín Ní Dhonnghaile, the principal, said: “We are very grateful to the talented musicians from Comhaltas, who are current and past pupils of the school, who entertained the parents at the start of the night.

“One of the lovely things about Gaelscoil an Chaistil is that our past pupils like to return to school to take part in events like this and indeed to gain experience and employment at the school.

“Currently two past pupils, Rónan Mac Cathmhaoil and Caoimhe Ní Bhrolcháin, are working at the school.

“We would also like to say a massive thanks to Ciara Mathers who shared her experiences of Gaelscoil an Chaistil with the parents on the night.”
