Nashville Ben returns to Glenarm for charity concert

A Nashville-based singer is returning to his home village of Glenarm to help his old school and a classmate out with a fundraising drive.

Ben Glover has been making quite a name for himself in the music industry as a singer-songwriter, and is just about to release his new album.

He has combined a trip home with the opportunity to help raise funds for two good causes close to his heart.

As a child he attended Seaview Primary School and was glad to give his support to the PTA's 8,000 fundraising drive for a new mobile computer suite. He also heard that an old school pal, Peter Steele, has been raising funds for the NI Spinal Injuries Unit.

Ben will be appearing at a charity concert in the Halfway House in Ballygally on Friday, February 3. Tickets - costing 10 each - are available from the hotel, the school, Larne Tourist Information Centre, Glenarm Tourist Information Centre or at the door on the night.
