Natural Hair Company keeps on winning

“We believe this has been one of our best years to date, achieving the goals we have set out at the beginning of the year,” said proprietor, Martine Broggy.

“Achievements, goals and our high standard of skills and service have truly made us stand out in the hairdressing industry with five major awards, an inspiration for any local business in Northern Ireland.”

The salon team set out to make this one of the most successful years to date and thanks to hard work and dedication, managed to pull it off.

At the start of 2014 they made a list of achievements that they thought would be possible.

To kick things off they entered the Schwarzkopf Business Awards and reached the final held in Dublin, which was incredible, managing to pick up the title of ‘Ulster Salon of the Year’.

Next on the list was to receive some recognition for their staff’s passion and creative flair. Two of the Natural Hair Company team auditioned from Schwarzkopf Young Artistic Team earning two out of only four places in Northern Ireland and Ireland. Now the girls are enjoying travelling over the U.K and Ireland educating and researching the up and coming trends and seasons ahead.

“The L’Oreal Colour Trophy has long been a competition that we have been greatly interested in, and to date been very successful with,” says Martine. “Not to let ourselves down we took away the L’Oreal ‘Young Colourist of the Year’ award.

The next competition we had in our sights was the ‘Irish Hairdressing Photographic Awards’ and again got placed as a finalist in several of the categories.

“We have also been busy with charity events including the Hillsborough Oyster Festival supporting Autism NI, our evening event filled with education for the ladies attending with a lot of help from our staff at Natural Beauty and Faith Hair.

Last but not least, the Natural Hair Company recently made it through to the finals of ‘British Hairdressing Awards’the equivalent of the Oscars of the hairdressing industry.

This outstanding achievment has been so far the icing on the cake for 2014.
