'Necessary fencing work'

During a recent Leisure and Amenities Committee meeting, members heard that the issue had been raised by a householder whose property borders the soccer pitch.

The report explained: ‘Further to the Committee’s recommendation at its March meeting that Council be minded to give favourable consideration to the issue raised by a householder whose property borders the soccer pitch at Fulton Park regarding the augmentation of certain fencing, I am pleased to report that the necessary work is being undertaken on foot of an acceptable revised cost estimate.
