Tara was found last Monday (March 9) suffering from mange and eating her own legs due to stress after being locked in a shed without food, water or heating. Her weight had plummeted to 40 pounds.

After Tara was taken to Carrickfergus Dog Pound’s kennels, a local dog lover heard of her plight.

Jill hopes to raise enough money to send Tara to Birmingham Greyhound Rescue Centre, where they will either rehome her or give her a home for life.

£200 will provide enough money to cover Tara’s vet fees, dog passport and her transfer to Birmingham for her new life.
