Net gains for students
Carrickfergus College has been selected for the Irish Football Association’s Enterprise challenge.
Sponsored by Invest NI and the Northern Ireland Executive the challenge will see pupils working over the next three months on their own original product idea and business plan.
Thirteen different teams made up of more than 60 pupils from year 10 and 11 took part in the first enterprise workshop led by Paul McKnight, from the IFA.
The pupils are hoping to be crowned the overall winners, not only from within the college but of the whole of Northern Ireland.
