To allow for capture of the diverse needs within a local area, the Local Advisory Committee can co-opt additional members as required. Their local presence will empower the Patient and Client Council in meeting people and understanding their local needs.

It is anticipated that the first meeting for the Local Advisory Committee will be held in February 2010.
