New Ballycastle VIC proves popular
The decision to move Ballycastle Visitor Information Centre from Sheskburn House to Portnagree House has paid dividends.
A meeting of Moyle District Council last Monday heard that visitor enquiries in Ballycastle had risen from 3,555 in 2012/2013 to 7,889 this year.
It was also reported that staff in the VIC at Portnagree had recently been ‘mystery shopped’ and had scored 99% from a mystery visit, phone call and email enquiry.
