New blood donation venue

LAGANVIEW Enterprise Centre has recently been recognised as a new blood donation venue for the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service. The first donation sessions will take place on Monday June 10.

Vince Curry of the Resurgam Community Development Trust is urging people to make the effort and attend.

He said: “We urgently need volunteers to come along to the centre between the hours of 1:30pm - 4:30pm or 5:45pm-8pm.

“To establish this as a long term agreement we need as many people as possible to turn up to these initial sessions.

“We also hope that some community groups, teams and businesses would consider donating as a group.”
