Sinead says she is delighted about her appointment and that her priority will be to represent members' best interests. "I will have a strong commercial focus and my central and most important strength is my commitment to our members. I have a great deal of experience in providing valuable services to our powerful business network. I will ensure that members become more involved in programmes and activities in order to ensure that everything we do is directly relevant to their needs. "

The new Chief Executive says it is also important to develop existing partnerships, with key stakeholders in the city and with local and regional business organisations. "I want to build on these business alliances in order to identify and address the issues which will support positive economic development and business growth.

Chamber President Jim Sammon says there are "many challenges ahead but with a strong Board and Chief Executive, and a proactive membership, this Chamber can make a positive impact for all the businesses in the region."
