New coat of arms in development for council
An update on the development of a new coat of arms has been provided to Mid and East Antrim Council.
In December 2014, council approved to proceed with an application for granting Arms for the new authority.
The Royal College of Arms was subsequently petitioned and initial drafts presented at a workshop in March 2015.
Following feedback from this and a second session in February, revised Arms will be drafted and presented to Members for further consideration.
