New committee elected for WI
The October meeting of Portstewart WI was the AGM.
The following ladies were elected on tot he the committee - Betty Cummins, Maureen Garvin, Helen Jamieson, Iris Jamieson, Anne Kinnen, Alison Lamont, Susan Lyons, Margaret McGeagh, Ida McKeague, Evelyn Murdock and Joan Wright.
Susan Lyons was reelected as President.
The competition for the ‘smallest teddy bear’ was won by Grace Foster.
Helen Jamieson and Joan Wright shared the cup for most point gained in competitions throughout the year.
