Hide AdCosta Coffee was founded by Italian brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa in London in 1971. From this small family beginning, Costa Coffee is now known all over the world for the quality and taste of their trademark Mocha Italia blend.
For the past 41 years, Costa have been slow-roasting their own coffee beans. Just 1% of the world’s production of coffee is good enough for Costa to choose from.
Costa’s attention to detail even extends to the training of their coffee experts, or “Baristas” as they are known, who make and serve the coffee for you.
Costa Coffee, through the franchise partnership with MBCC Foods Ireland Ltd, opened their first store in Northern Ireland in 2004 at Belfast City Airport. There are now 18 Costas in the Province employing over 200 people.
