New dates for Glenariff tree planting
The Glens Red Squirrel Group, in partnership with the Landscape Partnership Scheme, are asking the public to give a hand with the planting of 3000 trees in Glenariff Forest Park.
They are meeting in the main car park on Saturday, March 12 and Sunday, March 13 between 2pm and 4.30pm both days. The group’s original press release had given dates in April by mistake.
Young and old are all welcome. Please bring along your own spade and remember to dress for the weather.
