New home for theLisburn City Belles WI

FROM March Lisburn’s newest Women’s Institute, the Lisburn City Belles WI, will be meeting at the Racquets Club in Lisburn.

This new institute has outgrown its original home at Exodus due to an influx of new members, excited to be part of a resurgence of interest in traditional arts and crafts.

The meeting on Thursday March 15 begins at 8pm, and features a cookery demonstration from The Pampered Chef, along with much chat, tea and cakes.

The February meeting was a knitting and crocheting yarn fest - with some members picking up the needles for the first time since P5, and starting rose corsages.

All Lisburn ladies are welcome, so potential members should come along and see if it’s their cup of tea.
