A post on the Dervock History Facebook stated: “We had 22 lovely ladies attend. Brilliant class and everyone did so well. We are hoping to have a frequent class in Dervock if we have enough interest.

“If not then everyone is welcome to the Ballymoney class. It will be £4 per class. Such fun and many thanks to everyone for coming.”

A Dervock spokesperson added: “Corin Campbell has began a new venture in the Community Hall with her dance classes. Over 20 people on the first day, I think the wee girl deserves credit so a big well done to all the ladies who supported and attended the event.

“From what I seen everyone seemed be having a great time, this is just what the village needs, Saturday afternoon entertainment.

“Hopefully this venture will take off and when word filters through the village there will be an even bigger turnout the next time. Well done Corin, I wish you all the best with your venture.”
