New lease of life for old building
AN old building which has lain derelict for some years, is being given a facelift.
The former premises of Christie and Jeffers at Townhead Street which has been an eyesore for sometime, will be presented as an venue for commercial purposes.
Its location and the fact that car parking space is readily available, gives the building extra appeal for interested parties.
Local residents are delighted at the improvements and hope that new business will be open in the near future.
