Speaking at last Tuesday night’s Annual General Meeting, Mayor Harding said he is looking forward with ‘excitement and optimism’ to his year in office, as he pledges to attract investment into the borough.
Addressing members, councillor Harding said: “I think that the tide and time are turning for Coleraine. For some people it has been a terrible time with the loss of jobs, but I hope things are changing.”

Using Ballyrashane Creamery as an example, Mayor Harding revealed that the firm puts £3.5 million into our local economy every year. He said: “If you are away in Europe enjoying a croissant, the butter that is used to make that croissant is from wee Ballyrashane. They are a local entity that is making a big difference.”
He concluded: “I am committed to doing things for out community.”
