New Medical Director takes up post in Southern Trust

Dr Richard Wright is the new Medical Director and has been in post since the beginning of July.

He is a former Associate Medical Director in The Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and has also been Deputy Medical Director at the Ulster Hospital and is a Consultant Radiologist.

Dr Wright said: “Southern Trust staff are well regarded for their dedication to their patients and clients. I am delighted to now be part of this team and will ensure that people continue to receive safe high quality care in The Southern Health and Social Care Trust.

“In the short time I have been here, I have met a lot of staff who are providing a range of excellent and innovative services with incredible skill and commitment.
