New minister meets MP
In the latest of a series of contact meetings, the recently appointed Minister of Seymour Street Methodist Church Rev Mervyn Ewing met Jeffrey Donaldson MP for Lagan Valley.
During the meeting, Mr Donaldson spoke warmly of the contribution made by Seymour Street Church to the local community and in particular through Damask Community Outreach which is connected with the Church.
Speaking afterwards, Mr Ewing said he was keen to work with all public representatives in developing partnerships that would benefit the residents of the area and that he believed it was the responsibility of the Church to meet people at their point of need.
