New Mobile Library schedules

Libraries NI has announced that new mobile schedules will be operating across Northern Ireland from the start of January 2014.

These new schedules will make the service available to more people. All mobile library stops will move to a regular pattern of fortnightly stops.

In all areas, the new timetables will facilitate an increased number of school and nursery stops as well as stops in rural and urban communities and villages, encouraging local communities to continue to use and support the mobile library service.

Irene Knox, Chief Executive of Libraries NI, said: “We know that the mobile library service across Northern Ireland is highly valued and we believe that these new routes and timetables, to come into effect from Monday, January 6, 2014, will increase the level of use whilst maintaining the high level of customer satisfaction.”

Mobile library staff members are notifying all customers of their new timetables during December and details of these will be available on the Libraries NI website or by calling the Customer Support Line on telephone number 028 3752 0738 (Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm).
