New Moira housing development

At this week’s meeting of Lisburn City Council’s Planning Committee, permission was granted for a development consisting of 69 houses on lands adjacent to 7 Meeting Street.

The development by Glenoak Ltd includes associated access, roads and landscaping.

There was considerable local objection to the development, with 36 letters being lodged with the Planning Service opposing the new planning application. Despite the objections, the development was given the green light by the Planners.
