New online booking service for Courtyard

However, this year, for the first time, audiences can find out more information about the ‘Summer Theatre’ performances and book their tickets online on the Courtyard Theatre’s new website, www.thecourtyardtheatre.com

Bernard Clarkson, Theatre Manager said: “We are delighted that the Courtyard Theatre can now offer this new booking and information facility online for the ‘Summer Theatre’ series, enabling customers to book tickets at their convenience, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

“The service does not cost customers any more money as there are no online booking fees and customers can opt to print their tickets at home or collect them on the night of the performance. Online ticket bookers can also pick their own seats on the website when making their purchase, ensuring that they get the best available seats in the house.”

Bernard continued: “Audiences from our sister ‘Theatre at The Mill’ have welcomed the online service with 30 per cent of ticket sales booked through the website and I hope that customers of The Courtyard Theatre will go online and see what the website has to offer.”

This year’s Summer Theatre at The Courtyard features some of Northern Ireland’s top amateur dramatic groups performing a selection of comical and interesting shows such as ‘Just Before I Kill You’ by Bob Margrain, ‘Cupid Wore Skirts’ by Sam Cree and ‘Strike Happy’ by Duncan Greenwood.

The Summer Theatre culminates on Saturday, September 25 with a Murder Mystery weekend by Theatre 3 Newtownabbey.
