New programme of events at YFC

THE summer has ended and another new year has started for Annaclone and Magherally Young Farmers' Club.

First up on the club’s winter programme was ‘New Members Night’ which, as always, turned out to be a fun filled night with plenty of craic for both new and old members.Throughout the night a range of ice-breaker games where played to help get everyone involved, along with other classic games such as Fluffy Bunnies, and Balloon Shaving.

Thankfully the night went well and we hope not to have scared off too many of the new members.

The next meeting for the club was a trip to Dundonald Ice Bowl. As usual this proved to be one of the most popular meetings with a large number attending. Again it was another highly successful meeting and everyone had a good time.

The club’s most recent meeting was ‘Indoor Tug-o-War’ which was taken by Alan Walker, the coach of the Richhill Tug o’ War team, and other members of his team.

Everyone, including the girls, thoroughly enjoyed this meeting as it provided something that wee bit different. Some girls even managed to beat the boys!

The entire club would like to extend their thanks to the Indoor Tug-o-War World Champions, Richill, and coach Alan Walker, for coming along.

This is just the beginning of a great winter programme. For more details on the club or upcoming events, please contact John Porter 07843182237.
