The funding will help build a 5km riding trail, incorporating different surfaces and plants to help stimulate senses through touch and smell.

The project is one of more than 250 successful Challenge Fund Applications.

The Challenge Fund has been made possible by the five pence levy collected on carrier bags.

It provides vital funding for communities and organisations to develop a number of new and inspiring local environmental projects across Northern Ireland.
