New tattoo based exhibition at R Space

R Space Gallery in Castle Street will be hosting a new exhibition, entitled '˜Tattoo Me', which offers a fresh view onto the skills and history of tattoo culture.

The gallery will be presenting six artists who use tattoo artwork and culture as the inspiration for their work in a range of materials.

The exhibition opens at R Space on Saturday April 23. At 2pm there will be talks from artists Louise Gardiner and Helen McDonnell. At 3pm artist Andrew Cooke will be doing a live demonstration. There will also be interactive, family-friendly clay-making drop in workshops with Andrew Cooke on Saturdays April 30, May 7 and May 14 from 2pm-4pm.
